Janet
Taggart is lead singer and cellist for the acoustic duo, Relative
Sight. Janet and her duo partner, Heidi Palalay, were chosen
as finalists in the 1999 Lilith Fair Talent Search. Janet's song, Change
Your Mind was chosen as a finalist in the 2001 Unisong Songwriting
Contest and a semi-finalist in the 2002 Song Lounge Songwriting Contest.

Janet received her Bachelor's degree in Cello Performance from
the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, MD. She currently performs
with the Albany Symphony Orchestra, Syracuse Symphony Orchestra and
Cayuga Chamber Orchestra(Ithaca, NY).
